About Denver Lifestyle™
When we ask our friends and colleagues what do you like most about living in Denver, they always reply “the lifestyle”. We enjoy the lifestyle so much that we named our company ~ Denver Lifestyle™!
What is the Denver Lifestyle™?
In answer to that question, Denver residents commonly refer to our proximity to the mountains and our great weather, combined with abundant fun social and charitable activities with fun, intelligent people. We enjoy the ability to go for a hike, a mountain bike ride, go camping, skiing, play golf in the mountains with 30 minutes to an hour of home. We have 1,000s of vacation destinations waiting for us out our back door every weekend. While tourists from Chicago or Los Angeles might have to spend $1,000 just for airfare, a rental car and hotel, most Denver residents can hop in a car and achieve the same vacation with a half tank of gas before driving home, cleaning up and heading out to volunteer at a charity function with friends. At Denver Lifestyle™ Real Estate, our goal is not only to help you find the home of your dreams but also to help you connect with people who enjoy your lifestyle, whether it be skiing, biking, hiking, camping, four-wheeling or any other activity in Colorado. Our real estate agents are very connected to the social and professional fiber of this town and will help connect you to anything you seek. We want your home and new neighborhood to be a conduit to your lifestyle. If you are selling your home, we will uniquely help plug the buyer of your home into the same network to ensure they are happy with their purchase.
What is Winter like in Denver Colorado and Denver Neighborhoods?
In the winter, those enjoying the Denver Lifestyle™ ski ten inches of powder in the morning, golf eighteen holes in the afternoon, enjoy a fabulous restaurant for dinner, catch a professional basketball or football game and then head out for salsa lessons.
People always imagine Denver as being buried in snow all winter long. Our 300 days of sunshine don’t permit that. While we can easily drive to any one of a number of North America’s top ten ski resorts (Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Winter Park, Breckenridge, Keystone, Steamboat, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland Ski area are all Front Range ski resorts within 1.5 hours of Denver), Denver itself typically is 70 degrees as often as it is 20 degrees throughout the entire Winter season. While it may snow 2″, 12″ or even 36″ in any given weekend, it is common for that snow to melt within 3 days of the last flake hitting the ground, with warm temperatures in the 60s begging folks out for a game of grass volleyball in Washington Park.
